Today's Words Of Encouragement: Determine Your Own Luck

I'm feeling motivated and determined. Two words you should strive towards. Always. Ambition is a truly wonderful thing. Everyone has, or at least should have a dream. Mine? Make my name Big in every direction I chose to go. Weather it's the world of media & entertainment , marketing, or the fashion industry. I'm going to BLOW!  Yours? Well, you tell me. It goes without saying that most dreams will not come true instantly. Hard work is a key factor, but have faith in mind that you can achieve all that you want to in life.

"Make your own luck." This is an exceptional quote and one of which I live my life by. If you want something, you have to put yourself forward for that something. An example: you want a job. To get a job, it is necessary to hand out resumes, fill out application forms, be presentable, etc. If you keep doing this, you will get lucky. Somewhere along the line, God will give you that chance you're looking for. Someone has to get that job and it could be you. Unfortunately, things do take time. Be patient. Will that time be worth it? Just think.

Opportunities are everywhere and available to everyone in our society, regardless of your age, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, social background or whatever it may be. Accessibility may be an extremely small obstacle to these opportunities, but again if you want something, go and get it! You're reading this, therefore on the internet. The internet alone holds millions of opportunities. Are you familiar with Google? I think so. There's really are no excuses. I must add though, a far too large proportion of the world's population are not exposed to such facilities. Millions of individuals long for the opportunities you and myself can easily take, but yet many of us chose to ignore them. We are extremely lucky and this is very important to remember.

I hope this isn't in any way patronizing, but inspiring. I have a tendency to be pessimistic when in fact, optimism is key. Another point to make is take risks. Wouldn't you rather say 'oh well' than 'what if?' A good mindset to adopt is one with the reality of life in thought. Inevitably, there are numerous things to be miserable about. However, there are equally as many things to be happy about. Smile, don't frown. It's physically easier anyway.
